🚔 Firework Safety Reminder

As we continue through firework season, please use fireworks responsibly and be mindful of your neighbours, pets, and vulnerable members of our community.

Fireworks should never be used as weapons or aimed at people, vehicles, or homes. If you witness dangerous use of fireworks or deliberate fire-setting, please report it to police.

🎇 Enjoying fireworks at home? Remember:

• Keep fireworks away from children - Give them gloves and long sleeves for sparklers. Keep a bucket of water near bye to drop finished sparklers in to.
• Keep pets safe indoors. Have you considered noiseless fire works? Most supermarkets now sell fireworks with out the bang, these are great for pets, but also for children with sensory needs.
• Never throw or aim fireworks at anyone
• Clear away anything that could catch fire
• Report dangerous or anti-social behaviour

Call 999 if there is an immediate risk to life or a serious fire

Why not attend a public display? let someone else do the clean up!
